November!

HEY! IT’S NOVEMBER!
My face upon realizing that Halloween is gone for another 365 days.
That means it’s time for me to start panicking because it means I’m less than 3 weeks out from Wizard World Reno. Come see me and buy your Christmas presents, because I know you’ve been putting that stuff off.
Speaking of putting stuff off… If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’ve kind of given up on Drawlloween…
BOOOO! HISSSS!!! FAIL!!
     Yeah, I know.
School and life have just caught up with me and I’ve had a hard time finding time to just sit down and doodle. Below I’ve shared a few of the random drawings I’ve done to play “catch-up.” I totally intend to finish out the list… it just may be in December? So stay tuned, but don’t hold your breath. Unless you actually can hold your breath for that long. I’d like to see that. And so would the world record people probably. I really just want to see what shade of color you eventually turn.
Jareth, Day #3: Goblin. If you haven’t seen Labyrinth, do yourself a favor and do so already.
Daw #4: Vampire, feat Edward Cullen, The Count, Nosferatu, and that is Dracula (not Obama).
Day #6: Pumpkin
Day # Something: Eye. I had just watched Kill Bill.

The time spent NOT working on my Drawlloween list hasn’t gone to waste though. I’ve slowly, been working on con stuff between my super busy class schedule. I’ve also done a graphite portrait for the up and coming band Reinventing Your Exit. As soon as that deal is closed, I will post the official shot online. You can see a crappy phone shot below. It’s for their promo posters for their upcoming “It Gets BetTour.” If you’re into Escape the Fate, or that genre of music, you’re in luck. RYE has a show coming up, opening for Escape the Fate on the HATE ME tour, at the legendary Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood this month.

That beanie was fun. Those stripes weren’t.

I hope that you all have had a wonderful and productive month, and a super spooky but safe Halloween. The day was spent with friends, eating junk and carving pumpkins (who had never carved a pumpkin OR watched Nightmare Before Christmas. I know. They were deprived as children.). We had about 100 trick-or-treaters. However, our drinking game was foiled when only two of those 100 kids were dressed as Elsa from Frozen. Disappointing.

His name is Taylor. He needs dental help.
I got lazy with our last pumpkin, so I took a page out of Magritte’s book and left it at that.

Also, I’m really bad at French.
